How long does production and delivery of an OVIA pergola take?
If the pergola is in stock in our warehouse, delivery typically takes 1–2 weeks. If it is made to order, the full production and delivery timeline is usually 8–12 weeks, depending on size and customization. Freight shipping within the U.S. is free.
Can I order a custom size and color?
Yes. OVIA pergolas are fully custom-made: we can adjust width, depth, height, frame color, louver color, side walls (glass, screens, slats, etc.) and add extras like LED lighting, heaters, and power outlets. You share your space dimensions and preferences — we design and quote a pergola tailored to your area.
Do I need a concrete foundation, and what are the base requirements?
You need a solid, level surface: a concrete slab, quality paving, or another stable base that can safely support the structure. In most cases a separate deep foundation is not required, but we provide recommendations for base preparation and fixing points based on the pergola’s size and wind load.
What kind of warranty do you offer on the pergola and electrical components?
The aluminum structure comes with a 10-year warranty on the Ultra and a 15-year warranty on the Max+. Electrical components (motor, control unit, remote, LED lighting) are covered for 3 years on both models. All warranty terms are specified in the contract, and we provide care guidelines to maximize the pergola’s lifespan.
How is installation done, and can I install the pergola myself?
OVIA pergolas are installed on a flat, solid surface such as concrete or structural decking: posts are anchored with heavy-duty expansion bolts, then the frame, beams, motorized louvers and electrical components are assembled and connected.
With 2–3 adults, smaller sizes typically take about 2–4 hours and larger sizes about 4–6 hours, depending on size, side walls and accessories. You can install it yourself, or a professional can do it to ensure proper leveling, anchoring and electrical connection. If needed, we can help connect you with installers in your area.
