Thank you for choosing OVIA Living. We design and engineer premium aluminum pergolas built to endure, and we stand behind every structure we sell. To give you genuine peace of mind, we provide the comprehensive warranty set out below, covering the components of your pergola against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty is provided to the original purchaser (the "Customer") only and is non-transferable. It applies to products sold by OVIA Living in the USA and Canada. The warranty takes effect from the date of installation, provided the pergola is installed in accordance with the OVIA installation manual and registered as described in the "Conditions of Coverage" section below.

Quality Guarantee & Performance Protection

We build to last. Every OVIA pergola is engineered from aerospace-grade extruded aluminum, inspected to industrial standards, and finished to withstand the elements. We provide warranty coverage for any damage caused by manufacturing defects or material issues, so you can enjoy your pergola with confidence throughout the life of each component.

Our pergolas are also engineered for environmental resilience. When installed correctly and used within their rated performance limits, OVIA structures are built to perform through high winds, heavy rain, intense heat, and cold — minimizing post-purchase concerns related to everyday weather and seasonal change.

Warranty Coverage by Component

A pergola is made up of components with different working lives, so our coverage is layered to match the realistic lifespan of each part. This approach lets us be specific and transparent about exactly what is covered, and for how long.

• Main structural frame (aluminum posts, beams, and rafters): 10 years on Ultra models; 15 years on Max+ models.
• Powder-coat / paint finish: 5 years, against chipping, blistering, and peeling.
• Manual louver opening and closing mechanism: 5 years.
• Ancillary and auxiliary parts: 5 years.
• Electrical components (motor, control unit, remote, and LED lighting): 2 years, and only when purchased together with the pergola as part of the original order.

What changes between models is the tested performance rating — such as wind and snow load — not the duration of coverage. As long as your pergola is installed correctly and used within its rated limits, the coverage periods above apply consistently across our range. These coverage periods, and the terms in this document, are the official statement of your warranty and take the place of any prior written or spoken description of coverage.

Conditions of Coverage

To keep your warranty valid and in good standing, please observe the following:

1. Registration. Register your product within 30 days of delivery by emailing info@ovialiving.com with your proof of purchase and your installation date. Registration is what activates your coverage.

2. Installation photos. At registration, please submit clear, high-quality photos of the completed installation. Include angles that show the overall structure, the alignment of the columns and beams, the base and how it is anchored, and the assembled louver system. These photos document the as-installed condition of your pergola and are required to activate coverage. They also help us resolve any future claim quickly and fairly.

3. Correct installation. The pergola must be installed in accordance with the OVIA installation manual, on a stable, level, and properly prepared foundation, and within six months of the delivery date. Because precise measurement and anchoring are essential to the performance of a motorized louvered pergola — particularly the louver and sunshade systems — we strongly recommend installation by a qualified professional.

4. Routine maintenance. Clean exposed aluminum surfaces with a mild detergent and water at least twice per year, and lubricate moving parts annually. Keeping the structure clean and the moving parts maintained is part of normal ownership and protects your coverage.

Coverage begins on the installation date once registration is confirmed. Replacement parts provided under this warranty are covered for the remainder of the original term and do not restart or extend it.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage, defects, or failures arising from the following:

Improper installation. Any installation that does not follow the OVIA installation manual — including incorrect assembly, incorrect or insufficient anchoring, incorrect measurements, or installation by the Customer or a third party that does not follow the provided instructions — is considered improper installation and is not covered.

Unstable or moving bases. Damage occurring when the pergola is installed on a concrete slab or other surface that shifts, settles, or moves, and any damage arising from ground or slab movement.

Attachment to buildings. OVIA pergolas are engineered as freestanding, standalone structures and are not designed to be attached to a building. Damage arising from attaching the pergola to a house or other structure — including water runoff or seepage between a wall and the pergola, and any direct or indirect damage caused by, or transferred from, the structure to which the pergola is attached — is not covered.

Misuse and modification. Overloading the louvers, placing abnormal loads on the structure, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized repairs, improper maintenance, improper storage, or mishandling by third parties.

Acts of nature and external events. Flooding, hurricanes, winds or snow loads beyond the model's rated limits, hail, lightning, fire, frost, salt exposure, sun fading, other natural disasters, accidents, or vandalism.

Normal wear. Minor surface scratches from everyday use, and slight changes in paint appearance over time due to ultraviolet exposure.

Components beyond their stated coverage period, and delayed installation — any installation carried out more than six months after the delivery date.

Additional Costs and Limitations

• OVIA Living is not responsible for the deconstruction of an installed pergola, the construction of a replacement, or the reinstallation of any replacement parts. All deconstruction, construction, and reinstallation work related to a warranty claim is the responsibility of the Customer.
• This warranty does not cover labor, disassembly, reassembly, packaging, storage, transport, or shipping fees, except where required by law. After the first year from the installation date, any labor costs incurred by OVIA Living in connection with a claim may be the responsibility of the Customer.
• This warranty does not cover indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use, lost earnings, or wasted time.
• Warranty benefits may be placed on hold while any payment owed to OVIA Living remains outstanding.

How to Make a Claim

If an issue arises, please email info@ovialiving.com within 30 days of discovering it, and include:

• A detailed description of the issue.
• Clear photos or videos showing the problem.
• Your proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation).
• Your installation registration details, including your installation photos if not already on file.

OVIA Living reserves the right to inspect the structure and product upon receiving a claim. Please do not carry out repairs before inspection, as repairs or alterations made beforehand may affect coverage. Once a claim is approved, OVIA Living will, at its discretion and at no cost to the Customer for the covered part, repair the component, provide a replacement part or product, or offer a reimbursement up to the original purchase price of the affected component. Where the same product is no longer available, we will provide a replacement of equivalent value. We aim to process approved claims promptly.

General

This warranty is a voluntary commitment that works alongside, and does not replace, your statutory rights under applicable consumer law. It reflects the realistic durability of each component of your pergola and represents the complete and official statement of the coverage OVIA Living provides. OVIA Living reserves the right to interpret and administer the terms of this warranty, and this written document supersedes any prior written or spoken description of coverage.
